The Project
Mulgrove Farm Village is a development which comprises of 72 units. The 72 unit site comprises of 43 open market houses and 29 affordable units. The site itself is just a five-minute drive from Chippenham Town Centre. The Bluebells is a development consisting of 3, 4 & 5 bedroom homes. The homes are surrounded by open space, including play areas and a pond.
The Process
SJP Architectural Consultants Ltd were engaged and appointed to prepare the technical working drawings for construction. The client opted to use their standard house type range, so our initial brief was to adapt the standard house type working drawings to suit the approved planning information.
A collaborative approach was undertaken to accommodate the site-specific engineering information along with the finishing specifications. To ensure completeness all technical information was added to the drawings for construction. This included updating the working drawings to conform with SAPs, acoustic mitigation reports, and ecological mitigation.
SJP Architectural consultants delivered the full detailed technical drawings within the client’s deadlines. Throughout the process we were engaged with the client and provided necessary feedback when required. To complete the full technical working drawing package, we included bespoke detailing which was required for combined plots with varying roof designs.
